This is to preserve the shocks under big hits. Under articulation with the shocks being outboard, that's when the shocks will actually bottom and doesn't hurt the shock as it's not slamming the full weight of the vehicle down.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese Bottom Out Set-Up spacers are used only for setting shock mounting locations.
